1968 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible
ID# 110125
1968 Oldsmobile 442. garage kept. Car is in excellent condition for having never been fully restored. The car has been in my family since 1982.

Car is number matching, with the original engine and transmission. This is a verifiable, real 442. This car has yet to be restored.

Engine was professionally rebuilt 4500 miles ago with Mondello Racing Internals, small overbore and light cam. Original Turbo 400 transmission was rebuilt around the same time.

Body and Paint are in good condition, with no major rust or issues. However, the car was repainted factory Saffron Yellow in the early 1990s and it is showing imperfections.

Frame is in excellent condition with no rot.

Is there rust? If there is its superficial and by no means cancerous or structural. Trunk lid shows signs of rust around the chrome for example. This car has never been restored.

Brakes are original four way drum with new shoes, recommend upgrading.

Power Windows, Power Top and Heater all work. Factory Radio is in place but hasn't turned on in years.

If they do not pass there will be NO additional cleaning costs charged to you.

The above price includes NATA Approved Asbestos Testing on all West Coast vehicles. If they test positive for asbestos only in the brakes, there will be an A$400 fee for the removal, installation of new brake pads and reinspection. The A$400 fee does not include the cost for the new brake pads. If asbestos is found elsewhere we will consult with you what options you have to move forward.

We are working on a similar solution for the East Coast vehicles.
